Summary of the proceedings from the Second day of the 10th Anniversary of African Union Convention on Preventing and Combating Corruption in Arusha, Tanzania

The African Union Advisory Board on Corruption opened its meeting on, 7 December 2013, celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the adoption of the African Union Convention on Preventing and Combating Corruption. The celebration based on the theme, “Making Corruption Unattractive in Africa”, is taking place at the seat of the Board in Arusha, Tanzania.
The celebration includes presentations and panel discussions on various topics such as illicit flows of capital, transparency in the extraction industry, recovery of stolen assets and the role of faith based organizations in the fight against corruption. Read more
